How can the loading of individual components be assessed and the service life be demonstrated? In a joint project between SCHAAF, a company specialised in the development and production of connection technologies, and Wölfel Engineering as an expert with many years of experience in nonlinear simulation and service life assessment, a flange connection using GripCon as a connecting element in the drivetrain of a wind turbine was analysed.
